Free Book Fair: Arcola Elementary

We LOVE Arcola elementary. This is our 2nd time hosting a book fair there and it was amazing! Here are some key takeaways:

Many of the kids figured out that I was the author of Kindness Is and asked me to sign their book for them!

A little girl told me that her mom tells her all the time that she is going to be a world changer, so she was beyond excited to take home @heyjennylarocque new book!

One boy came in telling all of his friends to get The Search for Syrup because he got it last year and it’s still his favorite book.

A boy screamed when he saw I had Booked because Rebound was his favorite book and he never had a chance to read the other two in the series by @kwamealexander

The principal stopped by and kept saying how happy he was that every child at his school was going to see themselves in the books we brought. This, clearly made me incredibly proud because within one minute of walking through our book fair, he understood our mission.
